About the Founder

DeLorean’s journey into professional organizing began in her twenties while working as a nanny and personal assistant. She started doing small organizing projects for the families she worked with, and this side gig quickly snowballed into a thriving business, fueled by her natural talent and passion for creating order and peace.

With over a decade of industry experience, DeLorean has built a trusted name in the organizing industry in the San Francisco area. Her business has grown into a dynamic team of skilled organizers dedicated to helping families and businesses transform their spaces into functional, clutter-free environments. DeLorean takes pride in hiring like-minded professionals who share her vision and passion for helping people create the homes and spaces they’ve always wanted.

When she’s not working, DeLorean enjoys seeing live music, traveling to new places, and swimming (she has swum from Alcatraz twice!). Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her husband and two young boys.

Purpose Beyond the Space

At Peace by Piece, our mission has always been to eliminate physical and emotional overwhelm by creating spaces that actively support the lives lived within them. But that commitment does not stop at the front doors of our clients’ homes. Truly impactful community work requires operational efficiency. We partner with local Bay Area non-profits to streamline their storage logistics, optimize their inventory pipelines, and clear the physical clutter holding their teams back. This allows volunteers and staff to spend less time managing chaos and more time doing life-changing work for the community. Here are a few incredible organizations we are proud to support:

  • The Mission: Helping Bay Area families and individuals successfully transition out of crisis by recycling, repurposing, and curating gently used furniture to transform empty spaces into real homes. Their goal is to end furniture poverty while protecting our environment.
  • The PxP Impact: We partnered with Make It Home to completely overhaul and organize their primary home goods storage warehouse. By establishing intuitive staging zones and clear inventory labeling, we created a serene, highly functional workspace where volunteers can rapidly source and deploy the exact home goods a family needs.
  • The Donation Loop: If you are editing your home and have furniture or high-quality home goods ready for its next chapter, we highly endorse this organization.
  • The Mission: Located in the heart of West Oakland, this 2,000-square-foot public art masterpiece and museum honors the revolutionary, community-sustaining role of women in the Black Panther Movement from 1966 to 1982.
  • The PxP Impact: In collaboration with Deloitte’s Impact Day, the PxP team mobilized to revamp the museum’s back-of-house storage areas. We designed an efficient system for their museum store inventory and the heavy-duty supplies used for their bi-annual Free-the-People block parties, cutting down volunteer setup and teardown times dramatically.
  • The PxP Recommendation: This neighborhood landmark is an absolute must-visit. We highly recommend stopping by to witness the breathtaking murals and experience the rich history firsthand.
  • The Mission: Operating as the nation’s very first Hygiene Bank, Simply the Basics provides non-profits and low-income communities with equitable, dignified access to essential health and hygiene products.
  • The PxP Impact: A hygiene bank handles a massive influx of tiny, loose inventory, which is a textbook recipe for an operational bottleneck. PxP stepped into their central storage unit to implement rigid shelving architectures, precise categorization frameworks, and clear containment strategies so staff can distribute life-saving hygiene kits without delay.
  • The Donation Loop: Have an accumulation of duplicate, unopened, or unexpired toiletries? Stop them from cluttering your drawers and redirect them here.
